EMEA boss leaves HPE

HPE optimizes its managers, according to The Register, which apparently has been approached by its faithful sources . In a message to employees, HPE president Antonio Neri reported in a memorandum a forthcoming departure from EMEA boss Andy Isherwood (photo) and US region boss Jim Merritt. Both would continue to help HPE to transition to the coming fiscal year, starting in November, and then retiring.

In addition, Neri announced that Phil Davis became the new global sales manager. Davis is currently head of the Asia, Pacific and Japan region. As a sales manager, he replaces Peter Ryan, who left the company in August for personal reasons to spend more time with his family.

The Register analyzes this development as the pre-announcement of a major reorganization within HPE, conducted under the HPE Next project and leading to profound changes and further growth.
